Nintendo goes wireless with its Wii U Pro controller


Along with confirming the revised Wii U controller, Nintendo also revealed a new Wii U Pro controller that includes analog sticks, and trigger and face buttons.

That may not be suitable for all titles, though. Especially ones being ported from other consoles. For that, much like the Wii, the Wii U will have a Pro Controller, one that you could say resembles the pads of one of Nintendo's competitors.

During their pre-E3 press conference, Nintendo revealed that they'll be offering an alternate controller for the Wii U. The Wii U Pro Controller, like the Wii's Classic Controller, is designed for core gamers.
